What is Ghost?
When players are killed in that session they become ghosts, including both the killer and the target. Server hopping did not clear it. Standing up from a knock-down is a different, non-ghost case. A separate clip respawns a transforming character at the vampire castle instead.

How do you get Ghost?
Die in the state that produces a ghost. There is no item that applies it on purpose.
How do you use Ghost?
Choose Human again if that option is on the death screen. Vampire was locked while dead in the same clip. Do not assume you keep your items.
