A born Human is not locked out of vampirism. The listing says Humans can be turned later. Natural-Born Vampire is a different start: you spawn as a vampire with greater potential. This page is the Human conversion, not that start and not Cannibal Raised.
What the recordings actually show
Guides describe the conversion as something another player does to you in the open world. There is no menu or shop purchase in the clips used here.
One sequence played out like this:
- The player was Human on purpose.
- Another player knocked them down during a fight and said they were transforming them.
- They stood up as a vampire.
- Compulsion was available immediately.
- Later in the same session they said they could go back to being Human.
The clip does not show the bite button, the range, or a prompt. A separate attempt to turn by having someone run a vehicle over the character has no clear result, so do not use that as a method.
Being dead blocked the attempt in that session. The player said they could not be a vampire while dead. Stay alive, get turned, then deal with death using the ghost route if you drop.
What changes right away
- You are a vampire as soon as you get up. That was confirmed in the moment, not after a quest.
- Compulsion was the ability they noticed first. Its effect was not demonstrated in that clip, so do not assume what it does until you read it on your bar.
- Neck snap on Q worked as a vampire in the same body of footage and failed while Human.
- Turning did not show a level reset. The level reset belongs to Cannibal Raised only.
Where to stand when it happens
Walkthroughs that filmed a turn also filmed the new vampire taking sun damage and, in one case, dying to city guards. Ask in chat, and take the bite next to a building or the castle rather than in an open street at noon. Night is the window those recordings use for travel.
Paths people mix up with a normal turn
| Route | Requirement | Level reset |
|---|---|---|
| Turned vampire | Another vampire transforms a living Human | Not shown |
| Natural-Born | Chosen or rolled at the start | Not a conversion |
| Cannibal Raised | Human, infected by a Cannibal Raised vampire, then drinks human blood | Yes, in the walkthrough |
| Hybrid | Shown as a path purchase; one player narrated 10 Robux | Not documented |
Some footage also shows a player announcing they will turn into a vampire without another player visibly acting. That clip does not prove a solo button. If you are trying to turn, look for an in-world prompt or another vampire, and recheck after patches. The experience is still tagged public test.
