Witch is treated as its own path. Footage shows players picking it from the same role choices as human, vampire, and werewolf. A matching public board has a Witches section, a witch ability list, a Witch's broom item, and Witches' Little Shop. The exact unlock button was not on screen.
Two different "how to become a witch" stories
- Footage: the player cycles roles and says they will be a witch, then keeps playing. Another clip browses the witch option and declines it. No menu name.
- One September walkthrough: while Human, find a book that spawns in a random spot and make a pact. Solo, no bite. That search is single-source.
If the book is not in your build, use the role list you already use to change form. Recheck after updates.
What a witch did in a fight
In one fight the player says vampire attacks do not damage them because they are a witch. They call Boulder toss repeatedly. After dropping to 2 health they gain health quickly. The mechanic for the heal is not named. Treat that fight as one observation.
Pain Affliction, from the September 19–21 recap, is the ability with rules:
- It goes on a target and drains life.
- Higher witch level means more damage.
- It spends mana while channeling.
- After an unstated time it starts harming the witch.
Line up a way out before you hold it.

Powerful witch is only the 75–99 title, not a second path. Supreme Witch is the extra title for the highest-level witch on that server, with bonuses in strength, magic, duration, and proficiency. Spellings come from spoken commentary.
The same recap says the broom works on console again. No date was pinned to that fix beyond the September 19–21 window.
Crafting steps that use Coins, a forest altar, and the chat line "Praesidium!" were not corroborated against Money shop lists or the board capture, which only showed item titles such as Praesidium Potion, Verbena, and Metal Ring. They are not repeated here as a recipe.
